Norwich Union Landlord Insurance

Norwich Union form part of the biggest insurance group in the United Kingdom known as AVIVA. Recently, they have just launched their Landlords Insurance policy to cover private individuals who buy to let and property management companies who own up to 5 freehold properties.

Insurance Quotations can be obtained online and via their telephone call centre operation. All five properties can be included under the one policy if necessary. In order to simplify this type of specialist insurance product, Norwich Union offer standard cover that incorporates buildings including subsidence, glass and sanitary fittings, loss of rent and alternative accommodation expenses, property owners liability, money and assault and contents of communal areas. In addition policyholders are allowed access to their free claims helpline and confidential legal, tax, and risk advice helpline.

There are of course additional insurances which can be included such as landlords contents, engineering cover, employers liability, legal protection and directors and officers cover for residents associations.

For more information consider visiting Norwich Unions website which contains a summary of cover and a glossary of terms. For those who prefer to read the policy booklet before getting a quote, there is the option to download and print the policy booklet in pdf format.
